My name is Josh Patton. I am a student at Kennesaw State University. I am involved in student organizations on campus. I write and record music for fun.
I checked out my first book on programming from my local library at age ten. I have been programming and gaining new experience since then. I first learned through reading books, and later moved to learn from online resources as the internet grew and developed. I have had the privilege of working in three software development internships. I have also spent free time working on personal software projects. Coding has become second nature to me, but I recognize that there is always room for improvement. So, I went to a university to study Computer Science. There I am gaining knowledge of more advanced topics such as graph theory and the internals of operating systems, to name a couple courses.
My favorite type of software development is web development, with which I have the most experience. I have experience writing for desktop and Android as well. I am open to new professional and technical experiences and working different sectors of the industry.
